How It Works

  • 2. We will provide an initial estimate*

    *Gold and silver jewelry will need to be weighed and evaluated in-store with an XRF

  • 3. Mail us your items*

    *We suggest properly packing items in a padded envelope or USPS priority mail flat rate box

  • 4. Your items are received and opened in-store on video camera

  • 5. We will provide an evaluation, offers*, and coordinate secure payment

    *If applicable. All transactions will require a copy of your identification. Secure payment includes check or wire transfer.

  • 6. Any items not purchased will be repacked and sent back to you

From a young age, Thomas Bisch of Southbury, Connecticut knew that no matter what, he would always have an interest in the coin and collectible industry. World Coin and Currency LLC is the culmination of a lifelong curiosity in modern and vintage collectible world coin, currency, and world exchange.

At age 11, Thomas discovered his fascination with vintage currency. His hobby quickly became a passion-driven, full-time business ran throughout high school and from his dorm room at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. In 2017 and 2018, Thomas placed first in the New York Business Plan Competition in his undergraduate. After receiving his MBA in Business Administration and BS in Economics, he returned to his home town of Southbury, Connecticut as a Foreign Exchange Specialist.

By April 2021, Thomas opened his storefront at 250 Main St. South, expanding his services and gaining traction in communities local and beyond. World Coin and Currency LLC is only the beginning of his passionate career in this unique industry.
